Resolve Errors dialog
This dialog is displayed after potential errors are discovered when attempting to copy objects from one database to another. There are two versions of the dialog.
Copying Of Duplicate Items dialog
This dialog is displayed if you attempt to copy items with names that already exists in the destination database. The dialog lists the items that are being duplicated, giving their names and locations in both databases.
If you click OK, items that already exist in the database will be duplicated there; the duplicate items have an exclamation mark (!) added to the names. Any items being copied at the same time that refer to these items will reference the duplicates rather than the originals.
If you click Cancel, no data will be copied (regardless of whether it is duplicate or not).
Unresolved References dialog
This dialog is displayed if you attempt to copy data that refers to items that do not yet exist in the destination database. The dialog lists the items for which there are unresolved references, giving their names and the names of the missing referenced items.
If you click
, the reference data will be lost. You can avoid this situation by copying entire model groups or by copying items in the appropriate order. If you click Cancel, no data will be copied (regardless of whether it is included in the list or not).
