Update To Later Database Sub-version dialog

You might see this dialog when you open an out-of-date database (master database or transportable database). This may occur if you have just upgraded your InfoWorks WS Pro installation, or if you open an old database created using a previous version of InfoWorks WS Pro.

If a database can be updated without affecting backwards compatibility, the update is carried out automatically.

This dialog is displayed before the automatic update begins to give you the chance to abort the process, perhaps so you can back up the database files. The database must be updated before you can use it with the version of InfoWorks WS Pro you are running.

Sometimes, databases cannot be updated without affecting backwards compatibility. These updates must be carried out manually. You will see a different dialog in this case.
