Deleting database objects
As an operator, you cannot delete objects that have been used in a completed simulation (except as described below). To delete used objects, or multiple objects such as a group and all the objects it contains, you must be an administrator.
Operators can delete the following single objects in the database:
- networks that have not been used in any simulations
- groups that do not contain any objects
- simulations that have failed, or that you have not yet run.
To delete an object (not runs and results):
- In the Explorer window or Model Group window, right-click the object in the database tree.
- From the context menu, select Delete.
Alternatively, select the object in the database tree and press the Delete key.
To delete a run object or its results:
- In the Explorer window or Model Group window, right-click the run object .
- Do one of the following:
- To delete the run object, select Delete | Delete the run.
- To delete the results of the run, select Delete | Delete the results.
An alternative way to delete the results of a run is to right-click the results object and select Delete the results.
