Import

Select data to be imported:

  • Browse for the WSA transfer format file (TXT) to be imported. A standard Open dialog will be displayed. Multiple files may be selected by using the CTRL and SHIFT keys.
  • The flag selected in the Flag for imported fields dropdown will be used to flag fields containing data brought in by the importer.

Generate IDs from

Set option for generating CCTV Survey IDs:

  • StartNodeRef, Direction, Date and Time: if the generated ID is longer than 40 characters, the ID will be truncated. An index number will be added to the end of the ID to preserve uniqueness where appropriate.
  • StartNodeRef, Direction and an index if needed: CCTV Survey IDs are generated from the StartNodeRef and Direction fields. An index is appended to duplicate IDs to preserve uniqueness. Generated IDs longer than 40 characters will be truncated with the index appended to the truncated ID.

Duplicate IDs

Set an option for importing CCTV Surveys with duplicate IDs when using the StartNodeRef, Direction, Date and Time ID generation option:

  • Do not import duplicate survey: surveys with duplicate IDs will not be imported. These surveys will be reported in the import log.
  • Overwrite existing survey: surveys with duplicate IDs will overwrite existing surveys.

When using the StartNodeRef, Direction and an index if needed ID generation option, surveys with duplicate IDs will be imported with a different suffix. Existing surveys will not be changed.
