Velocity Profile Report View

The Velocity Profile Report provides a detailed breakdown of flow, bulk velocity and wetted area for a selection of river reaches. Values are provided at each timestep for each river reach section as a whole and for individual panels that make up the sections.

Velocity profile data for each selected simulation is displayed in a separate grid window which can have either a single tab or a tab for each river reach or river reach section.

Column	Description
US Node ID	US Node ID of river reach Displayed when all data reported on one tab
Link suffix	Link suffix of river reach Displayed when all data reported on one tab
Section	ID of river reach section Displayed when all data reported on one tab, or data reported on a tab per reach
Date-Time	Date and time of simulation time step Tip The date-times included in the report can be restricted by setting the start and end times on the Replay Options Dialog. For this to take effect the Apply to Grid and Graph Tools check box must be ticked on the Replay Options Dialog.
Section flow	Flow for whole section
Panel N flow	Flow for panel number N of section
Section bulk velocity	Velocity for whole section
Panel N bulk velocity	Velocity for panel number N of section
Section wetted area	Wetted area for whole section calculated as Section flow / Section bulk velocity
Panel N wetted area	Wetted area for panel number N of section
