Confirm Deletion Dialog
This dialog is displayed when one or more database items are selected for deletion and:
- The Delete option is selected from the popup menu after one of the selected item is right-clicked in the Explorer window database tree.
or
- The DELETE key is pressed.
A message may be displayed before the dialog appears if some of the objects selected for deletion (or their children) are used by others objects. This is to inform users that if these objects are deleted, the objects they are related to may become unusable. Click OK or Yes on the message to proceed.
It is used to confirm the deletion operation before deletion takes place. The dialog layout depends on the number of database items that have been selected for deletion and on whether a group is amongst the selected objects.
The dialog lists all the items you are about to delete separately, with their full position in the tree. You should check carefully that you are not deleting data that you will need in the future.
Click Yes to complete the deletion. Click No to cancel it.
See Deleting a Database Item and Deleting several Database Items at the same time (Bulk delete) for more information.
