Commit Details dialog

This dialog displays more detail about what changes were made to a single network object in the master database during a single commit operation.

The dialog is displayed when you click the Details button on the Commit History dialog & Select Commit dialog when viewing the commit history of a single object.

Commit Details dialog

Item Description
Details Static text showing the object name, version, date, user name, numbers added, deleted and modified, and number of settings changed.
Close Closes the dialog. You are not prompted to save changes made to the comment text (see below).
Next Shows the details for the next commit, as listed in the Commit History dialog.
Previous Shows the details for the previous commit, as listed in the Commit History dialog.
Comments

Displays the comment text previously entered for the commit. This can be changed here. If you change the text, the Save button is enabled.

Context menu Undo Undoes the last change made to the comment text.
Cut, Copy, Paste, Delete Editing options for selected comment text.
Select all Selects all the comment text.
Right to left reading order Toggles between left-to-right and right-to-left display of the comment text.
Show Unicode control characters Toggles between showing Unicode characters within the comment text and hiding them.
Insert Unicode control character
(menu and sub-menu)
Inserts the control character selected from the sub-menu into the comment text, at the current cursor position.
Open IME / Close IME For entering characters that are not on your keyboard (for example, Japanese characters).
Reconversion If you are typing in certain languages, allows you to convert back and forth between the phonetic spelling of a word (using the standard Western keyboard) and the character that represents the word.
Save Saves any changes made to the comment text.
