Copying global preferences

This operation can be carried out only by an administrator.

Global preferences apply across the whole database. They are set on the Options dialog (accessed by selecting Tools | Options).

To copy global preferences from one database to another:

1. In an Explorer window, display a view of the master database or transportable database from which you want to copy the global preferences.
2. Right-click the database icon at the top of the database tree and select Copy global preferences from the context menu.
3. In an Explorer window, display a view of the master database or transportable database to which you want to copy the global preferences.
4. Right-click the database icon at the top of the database tree and select Paste global preferences from the context menu.
