Opening another master database
Administrators can open a guest master database for the purpose of copying data between master databases.
To open a workgroup master database on a hosted server:
- Select File | Open | Open another master database.
The Open Another Master Database dialog opens.
- Select the Workgroup option.
- If there is not already a connection to the server, connect to the server.
- In the Master database section, select the group (if any) that contains the master database, then select the master database from the drop-down list.
- Click OK.
To open a standalone master database:
- Select File | Open | Open another master database.
The Open Another Master Database dialog opens.
- Select the Standalone option.
- Click Browse.
- In the Open dialog, find the standalone master database, then click Open.
- In the Open Master Database dialog, click OK.
