Zooming in and out on a long section

A long section is a cross-section through the length of a selected run of network objects.

Long sections are shown in the Long Section window.

You can zoom in and out to see all or part of a long section:

• On the Tools toolbar, click the (Zoom in) icon (or press F9), then drag the mouse over the area you wish to zoom in to.

  Alternatively, press the Shift key to activate the QuickZoom feature. This allows you to zoom in on the network without changing the currently selected tool. QuickZoom remains in effect until you release the Shift key.

• On the Tools toolbar, click the (Zoom out) icon, then click the long section to zoom out from the current view.
• Scroll the mouse scroll wheel forwards to zoom in or backwards to zoom out.
