GeoPlan window
The GeoPlan window is displayed when you open a network or when you open a simulation so you can view the results. This view shows a geographical representation of the network, and can be displayed over the top of a map or other additional data.
Using this view, you can:
- inspect any part of the network
- edit network objects or add new objects if the network is checked out
- view simulation results
Some of the GeoPlan functionality is provided by a third party GIS object. InfoWorks WS Pro currently supports:
- MapX and MapXtreme from PBBI.
- ArcGIS from ESRI.
These allow the display of background maps and additional layers in PBBI or ESRI format. You should purchase and use the appropriate InfoWorks WS Pro version depending on your mapping needs. To change the GIS product used by InfoWorks WS Pro, see the Changing the current map control topic.
