Selecting network objects on the GeoPlan
The simplest way to select network objects on the GeoPlan window is by clicking:
- If you choose the select tool on the Tools toolbar and then click an object, the object is shown in red.
- If you hold down the Ctrl key you can add other objects to the selection by clicking them.
- Clicking an object a second time with Ctrl held down removes it from the selection.
- You may need to zoom in on the area of interest before attempting to select objects.
To select all network objects within an area:
- Click the polygon select tool . When you choose the tool the cursor changes to a cross.
- Single-click to start creating the selection area. The cursor is now connected to the point where you clicked with a red line.
- Continue to single-click to build up the selection region.
- Double-click to link
to the starting point and close the region.
- A network object is selected if its centre point falls within the region.
To adjust a selection made by any method:
- Click the select tool .
- Hold down the Ctrl key.
- Click individual network objects as described above.
