Working with graph annotations

You can add annotations anywhere on the Graph view using the Label (Label) tool . These annotations can be attached to a specific point on a trace, or unattached anywhere on the view. They maintain their location when the graph is zoomed, panned, or printed.

Adding annotations

  1. With a Graph view open, click Label the Tools toolbar.
  2. Click where you want to add the annotation label.

To attach a label to a specific point on a trace, move the mouse pointer over the trace. A cross is added to the pointer icon when you are over a trace point.

The Annotation Editor dialog is displayed.

  3. Type the annotation text into the dialog.

You can change the colour (text and border) and link the annotation with a line to the point where you clicked.

  4. Click OK.
