Calculating Manhole Scores

Manhole condition grades can be calculated automatically from the defects information in Manhole Survey data.

This functionality is available when using the CH2M HILL SCREAM™ or MACP manhole scoring standard.

To automatically calculate condition grades and scores for each Manhole Survey:

1. With the network open, select Calculate manhole scores/grades from the Network menu.

The following scores and grades will be updated for:

• CH2M HILL SCREAM™:
  • The CH2M HILL SCREAM™ scores on the Scores Page of the Manhole Survey Property Sheet.
  • The CH2M HILL SCREAM™ grades on the Condition Page of the Manhole Survey Property Sheet.
  • The Service and Structural scores in the defects grid on the Defects Page of the Manhole Survey Property Sheet.
• MACP:
  • The MACP ratings on the Scores Page of the Manhole Survey Property Sheet
  • The O M Grade and Structural Grade scores in the defects grid on the Defects Page of the Manhole Survey Property Sheet.

An error log will be displayed for any defects that exist but do not have defect locations on manholes.

Condition grade information for manhole Node objects can then be updated from the Manhole Survey data. See Updating the Network from Manhole Survey Data for more information.
