FOG Inspections
Fats, Oils and Grease (FOG) inspections are carried out to check that FOG waste generated by food service facilities, such as restaurants and caterers, is not discharged to the sewer collection network where it is likely to cause blockages.
A FOG Inspection is a survey object containing information related to a single survey of a property. Each FOG Inspection object may be associated with a single property, and each property may have many inspections linked to it.
FOG Inspections can be:
- created as scheduled tasks. Please refer to the Digitising Network Objects and Scheduled Tasks topics for further information.
- entered manually in the FOG Inspection Grid View in the Survey Grid. Please refer to the Digitising Network Objects topic for further information.
FOG Inspections can also be viewed and edited from the FOG Inspection Grid View in the Survey Grid .
Reports providing a summary and detailed information about selected surveys in the network are available. See Survey Reports for further information.
Validation is available to ensure that the FOG Inspection is associated with an existing property in the network.
Use the Navigate |To Related Objects () toolbar option from the FOG Inspection tabbed Property Sheet or Object Properties Window to open the Property Sheet for associated property, resources or materials.
Alternatively launch the Object Browser Window to displays object relationships and manage related objects.
