Graphing Data for a Monitoring Survey
To display a graph of time varying data for a monitoring survey:
- Click on the graph tool button on the More GeoPlan Tools toolbar. The cursor will change to the graph tool cursor
- Click on a monitoring survey on the GeoPlan.
- You will see a Please select TVD before selecting a graph view message if the monitoring survey doesn't have time varying data associated with it. If there is valid time varying data, InfoAsset Manager will attempt to display all of it on the Graph view.
Graph results can only be displayed for network objects contained in selectable object layers. Ensure that the monitoring survey object layer is selectable.
A grid of time varying data can be displayed by carrying out the same procedure, but holding down the ctrl key and clicking on the network object.
This tool does exactly the same as the Graph View button on the TVD editor (accessed from the Monitoring Survey Property Sheet).
If there is a large amount of time varying data, InfoAsset Manager will attempt to display it all. This can result in a graph that is so crowded that it is unusable. In this case, we recommend you hold down the ctrl key and use the grid display option.
