Description

Report Options

A list of format options for generated reports. Choose:

  • MS Word
  • HTML

Check the box below the list to automatically open a report after it has been generated.

Save Locations

Lists the available built-in report types. The default path for each report type can be edited by typing in a new path name or click Browse to search for a folder.

Type "<NETWORKNAME>" into the path to insert the name of the network for which the report is being generated into the save location.

By default a prompt will appear when generating a report to confirm the Save Location is correct. Check Use this filename without prompting for Save Location to bypass this step.

Tip

Note that a prompt will still be displayed if the file already exists (prompt to overwrite) or if the filename cannot be used for any reason.

Template Locations

Specifies the path of a folder containing alternative report templates. The specified folder may be used to store customised templates to be used instead of the installed default templates.

If a location is not specified, the installed report templates will be used.

The template location may be specified on a per network or per database basis. The folder specified should be in a shared location for use by multiple users.

  • Type in a path or click Browse to search for a folder to be used as a template location for the database.
  • Click Override to specify a template location specific to the current network.
  • To remove the network specific setting and revert to using the database settings for the current network, click Delete.

Click Check template locations to display a log listing the report templates available at the specified location, and a list of the templates that cannot be found at the template location and will therefore be used from the installed location instead.
