Customising Report Templates
Reports are based on a Microsoft Word or xsl template that is distributed with InfoAsset Manager. It is possible to change the report layout in the template in order to match your corporate style, for example to add a company logo.
It is also possible to customise the contents of the report. (When working with a Microsoft Word template, this is done by changing the bookmarked text in the template.)
The existing templates may also be used as a starting point for creating custom templates for use in production of reports for User Defined Objects.
There is no support provided within InfoAsset Manager for managing changes to this template. The template is complex and report production will fail if any of the data placeholders are lost. Therefore we do not recommend changing the template without contacting Innovyze for advice.
By default, InfoAsset Manager will use the report templates in the installed location when generating reports.
To use customised report templates, specify the path of the folder containing the customised templates in the Report Options Dialog.
