Set New Unit Description Dialog

The Set New Unit Description Dialog is used to set the units of a Time Varying Data (TVD) object after it has been created.

The dialog is displayed when importing Time Varying Data from CSV File Format.

You can select a description from the Unit Description dropdown list or enter your own units type. InfoAsset Manager will not know what user defined types mean, but the user defined type will be displayed on grids and graphs. The units available from the dropdown list are those specified in the Units Page of the Options Dialog for the listed parameters.

Once the units have been selected for a TVD they cannot be changed.
