Viewing CCTV Video Data
Video data can be linked to CCTV Survey objects and viewed on the Defects page of the CCTV Property Sheet.
Video file references can be specified in the following fields. The fields are listed in order of precedence used by InfoAsset Manager when searching for the correct video when viewing video data linked to a defect:
- Video file field on the Defects page of the CCTV Survey with an attachment in the Attachments Editor whose Purpose set to CCTV video or General video and whose Original file name matches the specified Video file on the Defects page
- Video file field on the Defects page of the CCTV Survey
- First attachment in the Attachments Editor with Purpose set to CCTV video
- InfoAsset video file field of the CCTV Survey
To specify the point in the video at which the defect can be viewed, enter the time at which the defect is recorded relative to the start of the video on the Defects page:
-
in seconds in the Video No. field
or
-
in HH:MM:SS format in the Video Time field
To view video data after it has been linked to a defect:
- Scroll down the Defects Grid on the CCTV Survey Defects page. (Using the arrow keys to change rows is a good way of scrolling in the grid, once you have clicked within the grid.) A still image from the video at the time defined in the Video No or Video Time field of the defect will be displayed at the bottom of the page if available. If both Video No. and Video Time values exist, the value that takes precedence depends on the CCTV Standard being used and the Video Location code.
- Right click on the image to display a popup menu including options to view the image at full-size and to play the video from the point in the video currently displayed
