WMS Layer Properties dialog

This dialog allows configuration of WMS layer display, including coordinate system, image format, background colour, and sub layer visibility.

The dialog is displayed when the ellipsis button close to the Configure WMS layer dropdown list entry is clicked on the Configure Map Layer dialog.

Settings

Note: Different options may be available for each setting, depending on the WMS server configuration.

Coordinate system	Projection system used. This is the coordinate system that will appear in the Projection section of the Configure Map Layer dialog for this layer. Note: A warning message will be displayed if the selected WMS projection system is not supported by MapXtreme.
Image format	Current image format (png, tiff, gif,etc).
Background colour	Colour of the background.
Transparent	Enabling this option will indicate that the background is transparent. In this case, the colour currently selected in the Background colour box will be ignored.

Visibility

The sub layers contained within the WMS layer are displayed in a hierarchical fashion, as defined by the WMS.

Visibility of each layer can be set using the check boxes to the left of the layer name.

Commits the changes and closes the dialog.

Cancel

Aborts the configuration and closes the dialog.
