Cleaning up unwanted files
You may want, from time to time, to clean up unwanted files in your local drive. Data on the InfoAsset Mobile is unaffected.
Tip: You can also schedule a regular, automatic clean up operation on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, using the scheduled clean up option.
- Select Clean Up from the options launcher in the Reports group of the Reports tab.
- In the Clean Up dialog, select one or more item types to be cleaned up by ticking the adjacent check box(es).
- Choose which restriction, if any, is to apply to the file deletion operation.
- Click OK.
A message is displayed asking you to confirm you want to delete the selected files.
- To proceed with the deletion, click Yes.
A confirmation message informing you that the clean up operation has succeeded is displayed.
- Click OK to close it.
