Cleaning up unwanted files

You may want, from time to time, to clean up unwanted files in your local drive. Data on the InfoAsset Mobile is unaffected.

Tip: You can also schedule a regular, automatic clean up operation on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, using the scheduled clean up option.

  1. Select Clean Up from the options launcher Launcher in the Reports group of the Reports tab.
  2. In the Clean Up dialog, select one or more item types to be cleaned up by ticking the adjacent check box(es).
  3. Choose which restriction, if any, is to apply to the file deletion operation.
  4. Click OK.

    A message is displayed asking you to confirm you want to delete the selected files.

  5. To proceed with the deletion, click Yes.

    A confirmation message informing you that the clean up operation has succeeded is displayed.

  6. Click OK to close it.
