Swapping or replacing controls on a form layout

You can swap the positions of two controls on the layout, or you can replace a destination control with an originating control.

1. Click the control to move (it becomes highlighted in yellow).
2. Drag the control (it becomes highlighted in salmon) to the desired location.

   Whenever it is being dragged over another control on the layout, the other control is highlighted in green.

3. Once the desired location is reached, drop the control by releasing the mouse button.

The Swap Or Replace dialog is displayed.

• Click Swap to swap both controls on the layout, or
• Click Replace to place the dragged and dropped control in the location previously occupied by the other control, and remove the other control from the form.
