Setting up local database communications
This configuration will be required only if the local SQL Express service has not been set up in the default way, for example under a different name or if it does not allow trusted connections.
In this case, when InfoAsset Mobile is started, the Set Up Database Connection dialog is displayed.
- Enter the details as required.
These details should have been supplied to you by the Administrator who configured Microsoft SQL Server on the client machines.
IMPORTANT: This relates to the local SQL Express service, and not to a server version since InfoAsset Mobile needs this connection to run.
