Zooming on the Map view
There are a number of tools available that allow you to zoom and pan around maps, whether these are displayed in the Map tab or within reports. These tools are described below.
Zooming in
Click Zoom In in the Navigate group of the Map tab. You can then:
- Click once on the map to zoom in by a fixed amount.
- Click and then hold the left mouse button down; drag the mouse to create a box around the area you wish to magnify.
Wheel mouse users
The mouse scroll wheel can be used to change zoom level on the map instead of using the Zoom In and Zoom Out icons in the ribbon.
Zooming out
Click Zoom Out in the Navigate group of the Map tab. Click once on the map to zoom out by a fixed amount.

Full extent
To show an entire layer within the Map window, select Full Extent in the Navigate group of the Map tab.
Other zoom options
There are various other tools in InfoAsset Mobile, mainly shortcuts, that will change the zoom level or the location on the map.

Use the arrow keys to scroll around the map, at the current zoom level:
