Create Diagnostic Polygons Dialog
The Create Diagnostic Polygons Dialog is used when generating polygons by intersecting subcatchments, existing polygons or GIS sources.
The dialog is displayed when Geometry | Create diagnostic polygons is selected from the Model menu.
The dialog comprises several sections, each of which contains similar options:
Dialog Option | Description |
---|---|
Network Object |
Dropdown list of network objects that can be selected for intersection. |
Layer | Dropdown list of GIS layers that can be selected for intersection. If the list is empty, it is possible to add layers without leaving this dialog, by clicking on the Browse Layers button. |
Selection check box |
If one or more objects is/are selected on the GeoPlan, this button can be used to indicate that only the selection is to be considered. |
Browse Layers button | Clicking on this button opens the GIS Layer Control Dialog, where layers can be added to the network and displayed on the GeoPlan view. |
Apply Themes check box |
This check box is ticked by default and indicates that a default theme will be applied to the created polygons so that any suspect polygon is easily visually identifiable. The original polygons are hidden by this default theme. |
