Name Generation Dialog

This dialog is used to activate and set up automatic node name generation options and, for SWMM networks only, automatic link name generation options when creating the applicable object in ICM.

It is displayed when you choose Name generation from the Network menu.

To turn off automatic name generation for a new node, set the selection to Do not automatically generate an ID for the new node on the Nodes tab.

To turn it off for a new link in SWMM networks, set the selection to Do not automatically generate an ID for the new link in the Links tab.

To activate name generation, select one of the other available options.
