Creating user defined data flags

Data flags are a powerful tool for recording the source and integrity of data in your model.

To create data flags:

1. Select File | Master database settings | User defined flags. The User Defined Flags dialog is displayed.
2. In the blank line at the bottom of the list, type a one- or two-character name into the Name column, to identify the flag. You must not include the # character.
3. In the Description column, type a description of the flag.
4. Select a colour from the drop-down palette in the Display Colour column. The program will use this colour to highlight data items associated with this flag.
5. Click the OK button.
