Exporting network data to CSV files

You may want to export network data using CSV files if you want to:

• open the data in another package for additional processing
• store the data elsewhere in some central repository
• use InfoWorks WS Pro as a central repository for data you use with other software

To export a network to CSV filesComma Separated Variable file format is a standard file format that can be imported and exported by many software packages. Many types of data can be imported and exported using csv format by InfoWorks.:

1. Right-click the network in the Model Group window or Explorer window.
2. Choose Export | To CSV.

   If the Select Network Version and Scenario dialog is displayed, select the version and/or scenario that you want to export.

   The Select CSV Export Options dialog will be displayed.

3. Select the options you require on the Select CSV Export Options dialog.

   For an explanation of the options, press F1 to see the help topic for the dialog.

4. When you have selected your options, click OK.

   This will display a standard Windows Save As dialog.

5. Choose where you want to save the CSV files, then click Save.
