Opening a model group

Most users divide their database up into specific work areas by using model groups. You can open model groups and manage their contents using the Model Group window. (Model groups can also be opened in the Master Group window.)

Opening and closing model groups does not affect the windows already open in your workspace. Objects from more than one model group can be open at the same time.

To open a model group:

1. From the File menu, select Open model group.
2. In the Model Group dialog, select the model group required and click OK.

If not already open, the Model Group window is opened and the structure of the selected model group is displayed in it.

To change to a different model group in the Model Group window:

1. In the Model Group window toolbar, click the (Up) icon. The tree shows the master database and the model groups within it.
2. Click the (Plus) icon next to the model group that you want to use. This shows the contents of the model group.
3. If you want the Model Group window to show the chosen model group exclusively, double-click the model group's name in the tree.
