Cross Section Survey Data Fields

Cross Section Survey data can be edited on either the Cross Section Survey Grid Window of the Survey Grid or the Cross Section Survey Property Sheet.

To view and edit all cross section survey data, use the Property Sheet.

The following describes all the data which can be used to define a cross section survey.

ID

The name of the object.

The ID is the primary key in the database for the network object. This means that the ID field of each object must be unique for all objects of the same object type.

ID of associated channel.

Overall condition A measure of the overall condition of the surveyed channel. overall_condition Long Integer     0

Offset and Ground level are read-only fields that are also displayed in the section data editor, however these are not exported or imported:

  • Offset - cross chainage calculated from X and Y coordinates
  • Ground level - ground level determined from ground model (if ground model loaded onto GeoPlan)

Attachments

Click the button to display the Attachments Editor, used to attach and manage photos, sketches and other files associated with the network object.
