Importing from Migration File
Data from earlier versions of InfoNet can be imported from .in2in migration files exported from InfoNet version 10.5.14.
To import a Network Group from InfoNet v10.5.14, right click on the Master Database icon, a Master Group or Model Group in the InfoAsset Manager Explorer Window and select Import | Import asset data from InfoNet migration file... from the context menu.
In previous versions of InfoNet each type of database item, (e.g. Layer List, Stored Query etc.) is stored in a type group containing only that one type of data. Type groups will be imported into InfoAsset Manager as Asset Groups.
The majority of data types are imported. The exceptions are:
- Graphs - the method by which graphs are displayed in InfoAsset Manager differs to that in earlier versions of InfoNet
- Workspaces - these can be recreated in InfoAsset Manager
