Water Quality Surveys

The Water Quality Survey is a planned activity to test a sample of water from the network in order to assess compliance with water quality standards.

Water Quality Surveys can be:

• Created as scheduled tasks. Please refer to the Digitising Network Objects and Scheduled Tasks topics for further information.
• Entered manually in the Water Quality Survey Grid Window in the Survey Grid. Please refer to the Digitising Network Objects topic for further information.
• Imported using the Open Data Import Centre.

Water Quality Surveys can also be viewed and edited from the Water Quality Survey Grid Window in the Survey Grid .

Validation is available to ensure that survey data is consistent with the network. Checks are made that the associated asset exists in the network.

The coordinates of the Water Quality Survey may be defaulted, in which case the associated asset coordinates will be used.

Reports providing a summary and detailed information about selected surveys in the network are available. See the Survey Reports topic for further information.

Use the Navigate | To Related Objects () toolbar option from the Water Quality Survey tabbed Property Sheet or the Object Properties Window to open the Property Sheets for the associated assets, resources or materials.

Alternatively launch the Object Browser Window to displays object relationships and manage related objects.
