Form examples

Two practical examples have been put together (one for Collection networks and one for Distribution networks) in an attempt to illustrate the creation of forms in InfoAsset Mobile.

Simplicity has been privileged, so only a limited number of controls has been picked up to make up the forms. In the real world, forms can have multiple pages and be as complex as you want.

Collection network example

This example shows how to generate two forms that are linked. There is a schedulable smoke test form, with a button linking to a smoke defect observation form, allowing engineers to very easily record any defect information on the field, whilst performing the smoke test.

Distribution network example

The chosen example takes you through the creation of a form for a hydrant maintenance InfoAsset Manager object and illustrates the use of attachments such as photos or documents.
