Comparing report versions
You can compare:
- two different versions of the same report. For this, the check boxes adjacent to these two versions must be checked in the Report History dialog.
- a single checked/selected report version with the current report version (i.e. the version of the report used to perform the version history on. In other terms, the report version that was selected on the Saved or Completed tab when the Report History dialog was invoked).
- the current edited version of a report against the version of the report on the server.
To compare report versions:
- In the Report History dialog, select/check two versions of the report to compare, or select/check one report version to compare with the current report version.
- Click Compare.
The Compare Reports dialog is displayed, showing for each object/item the values in the respective versions.
- If required, use the context menu to customise the values to be displayed;
- All values - Shows all the values in the report.
- Differences only - Default. Shows only the differences between the two versions.
- Hidden values - Adds the report hidden objects to the display. These objects will appear in a light gray colour.
