Time Varying Results Grid
The Time Varying Results Grid can be used to display:
- All time varying results for a single network object
- A single time varying result for a selection of network objects
- Summary results for a simulation
Displaying Time Varying Results for a Single Object
To display a grid showing time varying data for a single network object:
- Make sure the simulation is open, and the GeoPlan Window is the Current Active WindowThe current Active Window in any Microsoft Windows application has a differently coloured title bar to all the other windows. In the default colour scheme, the active window title bar is blue, all other windows have a grey title bar..
- Click on the grid tool button on the Results Toolbar.
- Click on a network object on the GeoPlan. If more than one network object is under the cursor, a dialog will be displayed allowing you to choose the required network object.
- Select a network object and click OK to display the Time Varying Results Grid.
See the Results Data Fields section for details of the fields displayed in the grid.
Displaying Time Varying Results for a Selection of Objects
To display a grid showing a selected time varying attribute for a selection of network objects:
- Make sure the simulation is open, and the GeoPlan Window is the Current Active WindowThe current Active Window in any Microsoft Windows application has a differently coloured title bar to all the other windows. In the default colour scheme, the active window title bar is blue, all other windows have a grey title bar..
- Click on the grid selected objects button on the Results Toolbar. This will display the Grid Selection Dialog.
- In the Grid Selection Dialog, select the attribute and objects to be included in the grid.
- Click OK to display the Time Varying Results Grid.
See the Results Data Fields section for details of the fields displayed in the grid.
Displaying Summary Results for a Simulation
To display a grid showing summary results for a simulation for an InfoWorks or SWMM network, select Grid windows | New summary results window from the Window menu. The results are displayed in the following grids.
The grid displays the following results:
Results field | Description |
---|---|
Dynamic storage |
Calculated as: Total volume - Total outflow |
Total outflow |
Calculated as: Total outflow from outfalls + Total lost |
Total lost | Volume of water lost through nodes of flood type 'lost' since the start of the simulation. |
Total outflow from outfalls |
Net volume of water that has passed through outfalls since the start of the simulation. Note:
|
Total rainfall | Total volume of rainfall onto runoff surfaces since the start of the simulation. |
Total runoff |
Total volume of runoff from runoff surfaces since the start of the simulation. Note: RDII and infiltration via the soil or ground stores is not included. |
Total volume |
Total volume of water into the system since the start of the simulation:
