Leakage Locator Options dialog

This dialog allows parameters to be set up for a leakage locator simulation.

The dialog is displayed from the Schedule Hydraulic Run view when:

Field Description
Leakage

Leakage rate

Value for the suspected leakage.

Test time

Time step at which leakage is applied.

Test nodes

For specifying a selection list containing the test nodes.

The specified leakage rate will be applied to each of the nodes in the selection list in turn.

Note: The only types of node that are tested are basic nodes and hydrants. Any other type of object in the selection list will be ignored.
Live data

Live data configuration

For specifying the live data configuration containing the monitored data during the leak period.

Include live data at nodes

Optional field.

For specifying the selection list containing nodes to which live data is associated. Only the live data associated with these nodes will be used when reporting leakage locator simulation results.

If a selection list is not specified, all live data points in the selected live data configuration will be used when reporting simulation results.

Use live data if within period (minutes)

Specifies how close live data observation times must be to simulation time steps to be used in the test.

If the closest live data observation is within one minute of the test time, this is treated as an exact match and that value is used when reporting simulation results.

If an exact match is not found, the closest times on either side of the test time are found (provided they are within the period specified) and linear interpolation is used.

If values are not found, the live data is treated as missing.

Keep leakage simulations

Keeps all leakage locator simulations.

If this box is unchecked, only a base simulation (no leakage applied) will be retained.
