Displaying layers at different zoom levels
Maps or other background layers, created using the appropriate format for the GIS component being used, can be displayed behind the network in the GeoPlan window.
A layer can be set to be displayed between specific zoom levels via the Layer Control dialog.
The location of the zoom settings differs depending on the map control being used.
To define zoom settings when using these map controls:
- Right-click the GeoPlan Window and select Layer Control to display the Layer Control dialog.
- On the Layer Control dialog, click the Map Scales button.
This displays the Layer Visibility dialog, where the values between which the layer will be displayed can be specified (Min Scale and Max Scale). Alternatively, the option to show the layer at all map scales can be selected.
To define zoom settings when using MapX as the map control:
- Right-click the GeoPlan window and select Layer Control to display the Layer Control dialog.
- On the Layer Control dialog, click the Display button to access the MapX Display Properties dialog.
- On the Display Properties dialog check the Display within Zoom Range box and enter Min Zoom and Max Zoom values between which the layer will be displayed.
