Importing from InfoAsset snapshot file

Network data can be imported from an  InfoAsset snapshot file of a Distribution network.

To import a snapshot file:

1. Right-click a model group in the tree view and select Network from InfoAsset snapshot from the context menu.
2. Select the snapshot file to import and click Open.

   The Import Snapshot dialog will be displayed.

3. On the dialog, select the object types to be imported.
4. Click Import.

   The InfoAsset Import dialog will be displayed:

5. On the Mappings page, set how various fields from InfoAsset translate into valid InfoWorks values. Also choose how to deal with unrecognised values.
6. On the Options page, choose whether to import flags from the InfoAsset network or to flag imported data with a #A flag
7. Click OK to complete the import process.
