Importing TSD Data
To import TSD data:
- Right click the append line of the grid on the Live Data Point View. This opens a standard Windows File Open dialog.
- Browse for the correct TSD file and click Open. The "Create a Live Data Point for each Telemetry Point" message will be displayed.
- Click YES to create an entry in the Live Data Point View for each measurement point listed in the TSD file.
- Click NO to create an entry for one measurement point only. The Choose Telemetry Point dialog will be displayed.
- Select a measurement point to be added to the Live Data Point View from the dropdown list
- Click OK
- For each entry added to the Live Data Point View, InfoWorks immediately sets the following fields:
- Live Data Point ID is set to the Location value of the measurement point in the TSD file (see Time Series Data File Format for details).
- Source File is set to the name and path of the TSD file
- Telemetry Point is set to the Location of the measurement point in the TSD file (see Time Series Data File Format for details).
TSD data can also be imported using drag and drop direct from Windows Explorer:
- Open Windows Explorer and change directory to the location of the TSD file to be imported
- In InfoWorks, open the Live Data Configuration into which the TSD data is to be imported
- Drag the TSD file from Windows Explorer and drop it on the Live Data Point View
