Managing results
The Results Management view displays a grid view of simulations in the master database or in a particular run group or model group. The grid describes the simulations, and what results are currently stored. The grid can be used to re-run selected simulations, move results, remove unwanted results, or view further information.
Multiple results management views can be opened for the same object or for different objects.
Opening the Results Management view
- To see all simulations within a run group, right-click the run group in the Model Group window and select Open.
- To see all simulations within a model group, right-click the model group in the Model Group window and select Open results manager.
- To see all simulations within a master database, right-click the master database in the Model Group window and select Open results manager.
Selecting simulations
You can select one or more simulations in the grid:
- Click the far left column of a row to select that row.
- Click the far left column of a row and then drag the pointer with the Shift key held down to select a range of rows.
- Click the far left column a row with the Ctrl key held down to add that row to the existing selection.
Deleting time varying data
- Select a row or rows containing time varying data, then right-click one of the rows and select Delete TV results.
Deleting simulations
- Select a row or rows containing the simulation(s) that you want to delete, then right-click one of the rows and select Delete simulation.
Moving time varying data to a server
- Select a row or rows containing the time varying data that you want to move, then right-click one of the rows and select Move TV results.
Re-running simulations
- Select a row or rows containing the simulation(s) that you want to re-run, then right-click one of the rows and select Re-run simulation.
Viewing log files
- Select a row or rows containing the simulation(s) whose log(s) you want to view, then right-click one of the rows and select View log file.
Refreshing the simulation details
Note: Changes to the status of simulations are not refreshed automatically.
- Select a row or rows containing the simulation(s) that you want to refresh, then right-click one of the rows and select Refresh from database.
- If you want to update all the simulations, click anywhere in the grid, then right-click and select Refresh from database.
Sorting the data
- Sort the simulations list on any column by clicking the column header.
