What's new in InfoWorks WS Pro version 2.5

This topic lists the additions and improvements incorporated in InfoWorks WS Pro version 2.5 which were not available in previous versions.

Node group object

The list of object group types now includes Node Group. Node group data fields can be edited on the Node Group grid view in the Object Groups grid or on the Node Group property sheet.

Area group object

The list of object group types now includes Area Group. Area group data fields can be edited on the Area Group grid view in the Object Groups grid or on the Area Group property sheet.

Ability to display graphs of alternate run results

When comparing results in a GeoPlan, there is now an option to display graphs of alternate run results (Graph alternate results on the Graph Pick Selection dialog). Checking this option will graph attributes for both simulations currently loaded in the GeoPlan window. If this option is unchecked, only the results for the first set of simulation results will be graphed.

Meters in flushing traces

When using the flushing scheduler it is now possible to select meters as part of a flush leg.

Ability to opt in a baseline for a server run

An option on the Default Model page of the Baseline property sheet lets you decide whether to include a baseline in a run. Enable in IWLive Server implements automated scheduling in IWLive Server. This option will be enabled only when IWLive Server is detected and when the baseline has been checked in.

Recharge after draindown

An option, Allow Recharge, on the Simulation Options dialog (see also Options dialog - Run Defaults page) allows modelling of recharge after draindown. Setting this option to "Yes" applies a progressive recharge of network areas previously drained or partially drained once it has been reconnected. This option will be applied only if Allow Drain Down has also been selected.

Finding database objects

You can use the new Find In Database dialog to search for database items in the tree view of the Model Group window or the Master Group window.

User defaults for simulation options

Default values for simulation options are now set on the Run Defaults page of the Options dialog. These defaults are used to populate the values in the Simulation Options dialog (available from the Schedule Hydraulic Run view), where they can be changed to suit the current run definition.
