GeoExplorer Zone grid window

The GeoExplorer Zone Grid View displays information about all the Zones in the GeoExplorer. More information about the data in each column of the grid can be found in GeoExplorer Zone Data Fields. For further information about GeoExplorer Zones, see GeoExplorer Zones.

The GeoExplorer Zone Grid View shares much of the same functionality as the Network Grid View. For more information about viewing and editing data on the grid view, see Network Object Grid Views. For basic information on using grids, see Editing Data in the Network Object Grid Views.

Open the GeoExplorer Zone Grid View by using the button, or select Window | Grid windows | New zones window.

GeoExplorer Zone Grid View Operations

There are two menu options specific to the GeoExplorer Zone Grid View. Right click any of the rows in the grid to display the menu. The options are:

• Update Zone Boundary - updates the selected Zone boundary from a network or by using a bounding box. See Updating GeoExplorer Zone Boundaries for details.
• Update Associated Item - updates the item (Model Group, Network or Workspace) that the selected Zone is associated with. See Associating Items with GeoExplorer Zones for details.

GeoExplorer Status Tab

The Status tab of the GeoExplorer Zone Grid View is used to define Status categories indicating the state of the network model associated with the zone. For example: No Model, Building, Calibrated etc.

Categories added in the Status tab will be displayed in the Status field dropdown list on the Zone tab or in the GeoExplorer Zone Property Sheet.
