Inference Rules - Pipe Clean Pipes

Missing network parameters can be inferred from existing data, allowing gaps in data to be filled in with reasonable values.

Inference data is edited on the Inference Data Editor.

The Pipe Clean: Infer pipes to be cleaned rule is used to infer the pipe details, (US Node ID, DS Node ID and Link Suffix), displayed on the Pipes page of the Pipe Clean Property Sheet for Pipe Clean objects with this information missing.

The pipes to be cleaned are inferred from the Pipe Clean object's Node ID Flushing From and Node ID Flushing To values. The inference rule can only work if the 'flushing from' and 'flushing to' nodes are joined by a simple run of up to five pipes with no branches.
