Property

A Property represents a simplified view of properties/customers. A Property object can have a point or polygon geometry type so they can be represented either by point data or, if available, by polygon data.

A property can be associated with the pipe to which it is connected. Connection pipes and connection nodes can be created automatically to connect the property to its associated pipe. See Joining and Connecting Selected Properties with Pipes.

Properties can be created and moved in exactly the same way as Asset Points and Asset Areas. For instructions, see Digitising Network Objects and Editing Network Object Geometry.

Validation is available to ensure that if a property is associated with a pipe (or meter in a Distribution Network), that the pipe or meter is an existing network object.

The user can easily identify which objects a Property is associated with by using Navigate |To Related Objects () toolbar option from the Property tabbed Property Sheet or the Object Properties Window, which opens the relevant Object Property Sheet.

Alternatively launch the Object Browser Window to displays object relationships and manage related objects.
