AQUIS Import Wizard
The AQUIS Import Wizard is used to import AQUIS networks into InfoWorks. To open the wizard, right click the Model Group (on the Explorer window or Model Group window) and select Import | Model from AQUIS Files from the context menu.
- For instructions on how to carry out the import process, see Importing AQUIS Data.
- The AQUIS Conversion Notes topic discusses the issues involved in the import and what further actions may be needed to complete the imported InfoWorks model.
The Import Wizard contains the following pages:
- Start Page: gives an introduction to the import process, and allows you to get help before starting the import.
- Select File Page: used to select the AQUIS (.dat) and (.cf1) files to be imported. Use the Browse button to search for the file, or type the full path and filename into the box.
- Names Page: used to choose names for the imported Network, Control Set, and any other data groups that will be created by the import. The suggested names are based on the Input file name.
- Finished Page: used to give feedback on the completed import process. Use this information, along with the notes in AQUIS Conversion Notes, to complete the imported InfoWorks Network, Control Set and Demand Diagram.
Click Finish to exit the importer. The results of the import displayed in the Finished Page of the importer can be viewed on the Description Page of the imported object's Properties dialog.
