Isolation Analyser dialog

This dialog is used to control the isolation analysis process.

The isolation analyser is used to search for isolated sections of the network. Closed links are identified from control data. In addition, a selection of links to be regarded as closed may be included for use in isolation analysis. The trace then highlights parts of the network isolated due to link closures.

The dialog is displayed (when a network is open) by choosing Tools | Isolation analyser .

Item Description
Set closed links from selection

Optional if a selection was made on the GeoPlan before the dialog was opened.

A selection of links that are to be assumed as available to be closed for isolation purposes.
Set options
Transfer Nodes Opens the Transfer Nodes Status dialog, which is used to view the demand associated with transfer nodes in the network and to control whether a transfer is regarded as a demand or a supply.
Markers Opens the Choose Spatial Data Types dialog, which is used to select markers to be displayed on the GeoPlan at links identified as assumed closed and to be closed.

For selecting the objects to be highlighted on the GeoPlan.

Before analysis: Selected links set as closed by the user (and links determined as closed from control data, if present).

After analysis: Closed links at the boundaries of isolated areas.

Isolated Network

Available only after analysis.

Parts of the network isolated from supply.

Supplied Network

Available only after analysis.

Parts of the network linked to a supply.

Extend the selection to include
Customer Points If checked, includes isolated / supplied customer points in the GeoPlan selection.
Spatial data If checked, includes isolated / supplied spatial data points in the GeoPlan selection.
Buttons
Report

Available only after analysis.

Opens the Report Options dialog, which is used to identify items that can be included in an HTML report.
Analyse Starts the isolation analysis.
