About the isolation analyser
The isolation analyser is used to search for isolated sections of the network. Closed links are identified from control data. In addition, a selection of links to be regarded as closed may be included for use in isolation analysis.
The Isolation Analyser uses the Isolation Analyser dialog.
The method is described in Carrying out an isolation analysis.
Transfer nodes
A Transfer Node Status dialog is used to view the demand associated with transfer nodes in the network and to control whether a transfer is regarded as a demand or a supply.
- With control data - InfoWorks WS Pro sets a default based on flow direction at the node (negative flow is treated as demand, positive flow is treated as supply). The treated as default can be overridden via a drop-down menu.
- Without control data - If control data is not open, InfoWorks WS Pro treats all transfer nodes as a demand by default. The treated as default can be overridden via a drop-down menu.
Markers
Temporary markers can be chosen to be displayed on the GeoPlan at links identified as assumed closed and to be closedduring the isolation trace process.
The default is to have no marker information.
Markers are temporary and will be discarded when the trace is reset or when the GeoPlan is closed.
GeoPlan selection
You can choose the objects to be highlighted on the GeoPlan.
GeoPlan extended selection
Isolated / supplied customer points and spatial data points can be included in the GeoPlan selection.
Report
Items can be identified for inclusion in an HTML report that can be requested by the user.
For detailed information on report options available in the isolation analyser, see Report Options dialog.
