Creating a live data configuration
You can create a new, blank live data configuration at any time. You will then be able to add links between live data files and your network model. Alternatively, you can import a live data configuration from some other system.
To create a new live data configuration:
- In the Explorer window or Model Group window, right-click a model group.
- Select New
| Live Data Configuration.
The Live Data Configuration dialog is displayed.
- Type a name for the live data configuration, then click OK.
The new live data configuration will be checked out but it will not be displayed. You can display the blank live data configuration by right-clicking the live data configuration in the database tree and selecting Open from the context menu. You can then add links to live data files. When you have finished making changes, you must check in the live data configuration.
