Operations toolbar

Click this button to carry out validation of a network, baseline or live data configuration. The button will be enabled when any one of these objects is displayed as the current window.

Validation will be carried out on the current object to check for missing values, errors and inconsistencies. When validating a network, the Network Validation dialog will be displayed.

Any validation messages will be displayed in the Output window.

The link reversal tool found on the Operations toolbar allows you to quickly reverse the direction of selected links.

Click this button to display the SQL dialog. You can now select network objects using an SQL query. See Stored queries.

Click this button to group all currently selected network objects of the correct type at the top of the current grid view.

Select one or more network objects and then click this button to display a time varying grid of a chosen parameter for the selected objects. The button is available only when you are viewing the results of a simulation. Clicking the button displays the Grid Selection dialog.

Select one or more network objects and then click this button to graph one or more parameters for the selected objects. The button is available only when you are viewing the results of a simulation. Clicking the button displays the Graph Selection dialog.

Select all objects in the network.

Deselect all currently selected network objects.

Invert the current selection. Use this button to deselect all objects that are currently selected, and select all those that are currently not selected.

Select all objects contained in the currently selected polygon object. See Using polygons for more information.

Clicking this button displays the Find Network Objects dialog. You can use this dialog to: search for network objects using wildcard characters; find a location on the Geoplan using a selected web map application and a full or partial address; locate objects in a GIS layer by matching text in GIS layer fields.

Use this button to find, and possibly zoom in on, a specific XY coordinate. Clicking the button displays the Go To XY Coordinates dialog. See Find and zoom using XY coordinates for more information.
